TikTok's default attribution is 7-day click + 1-day view. On a passive infinite-scroll feed, view-through credit inflates aggressively: a one-second autoplay impression on a phone in someone's pocket counts. TikTok is a self-attributing network with an ad budget to defend, and it doesn't deduplicate against Meta or Google.

Choose TikTok's attribution when
you're optimizing TikTok creative inside Ads Manager. In-platform signal for in-platform decisions is a fair use of the tool.
Choose Causality Engine when
